- At the May 4th meeting of the Saline County Quorum Court, Angela Nickols of the HSV Animal Welfare League made a presentation to establish a Spay & Neuter Clinic in The Paron Community. With the help of James Zahnd the Quorum Court unanimously voted to give an $8,000.00 grant to accomplish this community outreach. The purpose of this project is not only to reduce the number of unwanted dog & cats in the Paron Community but also to provide Veterinary Services to those who cannot afford them throughout the year.
